This laptop's taskbar contains the preview of Win 11 Copilot. I've pretty much moved all searches to MS Bing months ago, so the AI help isn't all that unique. I could fill up this blank page easily with something it produces, I suppose.
Windows Copilot is a new feature that will be available in Windows 11 as part of the free update starting Sept. 26, 20231. It is designed to be your everyday AI companion that can help you with various tasks and actions on your PC. You can access it from the taskbar and use it across all apps. It will also work with Bing Chat and first- and third-party plugins to provide you with more personalized and contextual assistance2.
Some of the future plans for Windows Copilot include:
- Adding more capabilities and connections to Copilot across Microsoft’s most-used applications, such as Office, Edge, and Bing1.
- Enabling developers to integrate their apps within Windows Copilot using Bing Chat plugins, which will increase engagement and customer satisfaction on native Windows applications2.
- Supporting AI development across platform and across Azure to client with new silicon support from AMD, Intel, Nvidia and Qualcomm2.
- Introducing new AI features and experiences in the Microsoft Store on Windows2.
Windows Copilot is expected to be a game-changer for Windows users and developers, as it will unlock a new era of productivity and creativity with AI. You can learn more about Windows Copilot from the links I have provided. 😊
