Day 63 - Last month on this date, we disembarked from the ms Ooosterdam. It has been a smooth and easy month in Buenos Aires with two more to go! Yet, it was kind of a chore getting a taxi on the big day celebrating Argentina's win in the World Cup. Many roads were closed off, but our taxi guy managed to get us to this apartment.
We wanted to see how easy it would be to take the subway to the cruise ship terminal. While in Buenos Aires, Jay and I have decided we have time at least to glimpse Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We have booked a round-trip reservation on an MSC cruise that leaves near the end of next month.
Today, we discovered that going by subway to the cruise port took about 45 minutes in total. Much of that is because the last stop is quite a ways from the terminal. However, it will be doable as we will just be carrying backpacks rather than large suitcases. Lots of folks have suitcases in the area because it is near one of the city's largest train and bus stations.
