Day 41 - We just had to walk around a bit more to find some cinnamon. The small markets, such as Dia, have extremely tiny sections of ordinary spices. Jay, however, requires quite an extensive collection for his cooking. He wondered why even the chilli powder was not hot!
Finally, we found that these sorts of things can be found at little shops selling bulk items. There are two different stores within two blocks. He bought a number of seasonings not on sale in the normal grocery stores.
Now our food will have a little more pep and flavour and not seem as lifeless as a meal from behind the iron curtain.
