Several Flights Ahead of Ourselves

Jay and I were discussing the fact our winter itinerary will last for four months.  We usually go away for five!  This winter, we're getting started a little later and arriving back a little earlier than during most years since retirement.

This could allow us to pick a different city for a one-month stay, we reasoned.  It sort of all started with a daily MS Windows wallpaper earlier this summer.  It showed the community of Menton in a superbly interesting Getty-image photograph.

We've seen the Mediterranean Sea while sailing on it.  We've also viewed it from vantage points in a number of countries around its perimeter.  However, there is one very famous strip of Mediterranean shore that we have never visited.  So, we have made new plans for that very area for the month of June 2023.
