The cruise takes us 31 nights. We visit Aruba and sail through the Panama Canal and stop at ports along on the west coast of South America. In Peru, we spend a few nights off our ship so we can visit Machu Picchu. After we round Cape Hope, we'll have a stop in the Falkland Islands, and hopefully get in some penguin viewing. We have our final night docked in Buenos Aires and disembark on December 20th.
Then, for the bulk of our winter, for almost exactly three months, we will stay at an Airbnb in Argentina's capital. Our return will be, a tad earlier than usual, in Mid-March 2023.
