For years, I've thought the fuss made at Halloween is ridiculous. It seemed to me that many so-called adults simply hadn't grown up. Being dressed up in a costume as a 6-year-old is cute; however, when someone's over 14 years old, it simply seems sad.
I also complained about the vast sums spent on this originally pagan, non-holiday in the past. Really, it'd be more logical to scale things back a bit and send the savings to a worthy charity. This year, all I'll say is ...
