When I look around and see other folks who seldom get very far away, I feel a type of profound, and perhaps misplaced, pity. "Tsk, tsk. They've never learned much about the world in which they live," I say to myself.
It takes all kinds. Yet. I'm happier that we've constantly kept moving, experiencing, and cataloging. When life's all over, even if you can't recall the details, the only thing you'll truly have had is the people you've known, the places you've been, and the things you have observed.
