Then late in the afternoon, I took my e-scooter out for a maiden spin. I just figured out how to get the bulky Apollo Ghost down to the parkade and drove out of our building's Fourth Street entrance. It's going to take a bit of time to gain confidence. My city is mostly on one side and the top of an enormous hill, so I wondered about its climbing abilities. One motor alone never would cut it. However, as soon as I engaged the second one, I unleashed its beastly instincts. Just as I have no idea how fast my car will go, I'm very unlikely to ever hit top speed on the e-scooter. It'd be illegal anyways.
I would have stayed out longer in the neighbourhood, but it was as cold as a breast of a woman practicing malignant supernatural powers. I zoomed around 3 or 4 KM. When my face got numb, I quickly returned home.
