This morning, we did a run to the Langley Farm market. We generally go to buy fruit and vegetables on Thursdays or Fridays while we pick up regular groceries on Saturdays.
There was a lot of traffic on the roads as some folks started their Canadian Thanksgiving weekend a little early. I liked the feeling of activity and industry. It is something that has been missed during this long, long COVID situation.
Tonight, our meal might look like a tiny Thanksgiving practice-run. However, it wasn't. We bought a roasted chicken at the uptown Walmart and we always eat a lot of veggies. However, the cranberry sauce that Jay made does fit into the season.
