December 4th was an unusual day because Jay and his two sisters made Buddhist almsgiving

at a temple to honour and remember their parents It was the fourth anniversary of their father's death. Jay's mother passed away in 2003.
So mentions and messages between the siblings occurred on WhatsApp today too. Jay's younger brother sent this image of an old family photo.
We've come to believe this was probably taken by Jay on his first trip home from work in Saudi Arabia in 1983. The photo was taken in front of their old house in Minuwangoda.
I didn't see that building but arrived in Sri Lanka on a vacation during Jay's first visit back to the new house in 1986.
