We moved into our apartment here 22 years ago this month, after renting nearby for a couple of years. We live in one of twin towers with around 150 units. The amenities include some public space on both sides of the property. In the front, from 1998 until about 2015 the water feature was a simple, round pool. Jay used to call it the 'broken waterpipe' fountain. The image above was taken in 2010.
We, as a strata corporation, subsequently voted to add three, granite pillars over which water silently flows. My initial picture of the improvement was taken during the summer of 2016. It makes for a pleasant place although we never sit there. Nobody does. We cannot see the fountain from our apartment as we're on the other side of the building looking at the Fraser River.
Today, I took several more images. I was able to get these photos because of my drone. The first one is sort of a selfie but I'm composing the shot on my phone's screen.
My Mavic Mini is fun even if I'm not flying it anywhere near its maximum range of four kilometers. My second photo give me an idea of what birds see.
