Where's Our Summer?

I've called the following picture, 'Will Summer Ever Come?' Less rhetorically, I could have talked about the cool weather of this week and rain that'll come this weekend. I thought the best weather in BC was between April and October as those are the ones when we now stay here.

I suppose a question just as important is whether this will be at all like the summers we are used to. All the big, summer events in the Vancouver area have already been cancelled due to the COVID-19 crisis. At the present time, strangers cannot even walk through a park within 2-meters of each other.
