One of the most important functions of this blog is to let me look up specific dates for things that have happened. For example, we travel a lot and being able to search for the exact dates of a trip can be useful. Most things I want to recall from late in 2003 to today are recorded here. It's one reason I keep doing this every day. That also means, that like today, some entries are published as a means for me to document the date when I buy something.
The home-theatre system being replaced was purchased before
my eJournal and images was begun, but I'm pretty sure it happened earlier the same year. At least that's what
this entry from 2006 seems to indicate. The new receiver and speakers were carried up to me by the FedEx guy. Last week, it was in Ontario. Here are it is ... in the front hallway ... still in the two boxes.
