Day 71 - Finally, it's time to gloat shamelessly. The weather forecasts for Vancouver are showing all sorts of awful. In our part of BC, there is currently a wind warning from Environment Canada. The newspapers are calling for a substantial chance of rain and snow. Then, the real 'pièce de résistance' is an Arctic airmass that might push the temperatures to -11°C later in the week.
Of course, I'm not going to try to pretend I'm not happy in Sri Lanka's heat. I expect the temperature here will reach 30°C each day until we leave at the end of this month to another tropical location. Furthermore, I'm very likely to brag about the fact we annually spend five months in tropical places.
