We returned to Nugegoda to spend a week at Jay's elder sister's place. We have some errands where the logistics of being here make sense. I'll go through them over the next several days as they occur. First off, tomorrow, we will go to extend our one month Sri Lankan visa for another two months.

We arranged for a PickMe vehicle by the phone app and it took around 15 minutes to arrive at the Minuwangoda house. Although we did a portion of our trip on the new expressway, it still took one and nineteen minutes to get here. The little toll of SR200 from the Jal-Ela exchange was worth it to me. If not for a single reason alone: I am not sure about the airbags in the vehicles here. I usually ride in the front passenger seat, which feels right at home as it's on the right side of vehicles. However, the roads are not like those at home! Driving on the slow road is surely a headache and possibly much worse if there were an accident!
However, Jay's sisters think the PickMe bill of SR 2,200 (US $12.17) was several hundred rupees too much. It automatically went to my credit card. I consider moving three people and all our luggage in air-conditioned comfort for 80 minutes a relative bargain.
