It has been a long time coming. In fact, I'm more aware of this length of time because this month is the anniversary of our time here. We arrived in this city 23-years ago this month. Furthermore, we've been living in our apartment just a few blocks from the construction area for 21 years from next month.
Originally, we saw a large 3x3-meter model showing the planned development. I'm glad it took long enough to get this development right. Rather than a wall of thick condos, we will be looking to several mega-towers. The 50-storey residential development will block a bit of our view, but it will provide a nicer environment for those who live in downtown New Westminster.
