The only part of their city hall I'd seen was the underground parking area. I had visited there a few times to 'gas up' Kimchi, our Hyundai Kona Electric on the fast charger. Yesterday, I put an 80% charge on our EV in Merritt, BC and we drove all the way home. I had only about 24% of a charge left with a remaining range of around 94 KM. Although there was no need to run to top up today, I had the time. The car reported it would take an hour and five minutes to charge back up to 80% on the public BC Hydro DC charger. I spent the time walking around checking out the enormous library. I'm impressed by how many facilities the Surrey residents get for their municipal taxes. The architecture was truly inspiring. I have no visual record of the space though.
So, for a picture to include today, I had to find one. It has taken last week at Queen's Park in New Westminster. Jay and I had returned to check up on the goats and, on Sunday, we saw many folks using the picnic and water park areas.
