Speaking of which, this might be a good time to mention Jay has bought air tickets to visit his sisters in Sri Lanka. Time slips by quickly. Although we visited the island nation four times this millennium, it has been more than five years since the last time! He will go for two weeks and I'll hold down the fort here in Kuala Lumpur. I don't think we've been apart for so long since the very first days of this blog. He went to visit for a few weeks when his mother was gravely ill in 2003. That's a long time ago!
Today, Jay started picking up a few things to bring when he goes for the first half of March. We also started looking online for another little break from Kuala Lumpur. Either before or after his trip, I need to visit another country, even if only for a day.
Everyone is allowed a 90 day stay in Malaysia. We are a few days over, but Jay is all set due to his trip. I will need to re-enter to be eligible for a further three months as well. Thailand is an easy destination. Perhaps we can both take a few days in the upcoming few weeks.
