
It has been a rather grey day. In fact, when we walked to the municipal market in the morning, we narrowly escaped getting wet. Only when we were inside, did the water pour from the skies. Later throughout the day, a half dozen, heavy, four-minute deluges occurred. We were inside for all of them.


The Balinese-Hindu holiday of Galungan starts being celebrated from Wednesday as well. By chance the holidays are running nearly concurrently. This time, it runs through January 5th.
