.On this date, exactly four years ago, I completed my last class as an instructor at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. On October 22, 2014, I began living my early retirement. My partner and I now spend time planning and touring the world. We live overseas during Vancouver's grey winters. Teaching was a tremendously rewarding career; however, giving it up at the age of 55 was one of the best things I ever did.
