Our wet spring and sunny summer seem to be leading to a bumper crop of blackberries.
We drove across the river to the park directly across from our apartment. We knew that there'd be berries as we have picked in past years on the Surrey side.
Jay did pick and save quite a few blackberries to bring home while I ate everything I picked. There were lots and lots of berries. Many were completely ready but there were some unripened bushes so we will be able to return in a few weeks for more.
