I do miss one little aspect of Facebook. When I was a user, I created a limited group for friends who were truly interested in TV and movies. We'd post about shows or films we'd discovered and our opinions. There is just so damned much available nowadays that it's hard to keep up without the help of others. If I were still on Facebook I'd add some information about this recent viewing experience.
We just finished binging our way through three seasons of
Versailles. Don't try to tell me that television is a wasteland nowadays! We were able to catch a lavish production of nearly thirty hours. Even if the series took a little liberty in historical accuracy, we were exposed to something fairly new to us. It was amazing.
