Yay. Back to BC beer! Timothy had a flex day and used it by heading to New Westminster. Jay put some food on the table for lunch and then he visited with Jiwan while we drove across the river to buy a few growlers and bottles at Central City Brewing. Before coming back to drink two-litres of Imperial IPA, we popped into Steel and Oak to see their tiny-bit-bigger tasting room. It is nice to buy craft beer from local establishments. I had enough beer to drink in SE Asia over the winter, but it was pretty uninspiring manufactured suds. Today seemed to provide another reason why it's good to be home.
