I'd booked the early evening flight from Langkawi. It left at 5:30 PM, so we had much of the day on the island. We did have to check out of the room at noon, so we packed the bags and put them in the locked storage area. We had a last walk to the beach and a leisurely lunch at The Wood's.We spent time at the hostel before finally deciding to order an Uber at around 3:00 PM. Of course, that meant extra time at the airport but I really appreciate how efficient Air Asia is on getting crowds in and out of their planes. We landed early at the Penang International Airport.
I ordered another Uber and wondered how it would work at a crowded airport. Although I may have mistakenly chosen the departures option, our driver knew where to find us. Our trip to Langkawi has proven to me that Uber is, at least in a small way, magic. In Malaysia, it is cheap, fast, and efficient. I just enter the destination in the app and within minutes a clean vehicle arrives to whisk us to our destinations.

The little trip was fun but it felt good to get 'home' to the Relau apartment.
