A Break from Our Vacation

Day 16 - We used our present, weekly bus passes to go and get new ones. In fact, these are the third we've purchased at 30 Malaysian Ringgit, which is around $US 7.35 at present. (Unlimited travel for less than 8 bucks a week ain't bad.) We would have bought monthly passes upon arrival, but we didn't have the necessary passport-sized photos. We wouldn't have saved much, so it hardly seemed worth having any taken. Now, our habit is to go on Thursdays and buy passes starting on Fridays.



OMG, we overpaid (a nominal amount). This is because we will not be in Penang next Thursday! This evening, we bought Air Asia tickets to Langkawi for a few days. We will fly next Wednesday and come back on Saturday. Our hotel ends up being free as we collected quite a few Expedia+ Points on our recent cruises.
