We didn't have much of a wait or trouble in Hong Kong before boarding the Cathay Dragon sector which put us into Penang a little early.

The flight of three hours and fifteen minutes seemed like a little hop/skip. We took our time at the airport both because we had to and because we wanted to. We had to wait for about 30 minutes to get through the line at customs. However, we smiled nicely in the picture and offered our index fingers for scanning. We got the standard three-month visa for free.
Our bags arrived intact. Jay changed some Chinese money we had sitting at home and I found an HSBC ATM upstairs to give us more than the 31 ringgit (US$ 7.50) which the airport taxi cost.

The taxi driver had to use his GPS to find the Relau Vista apartment complex. We called our contact number at the security gate and spoke to the lady we are renting from. She sent her neighbor down to let us in and give us the keys and a show of the place. I have lived in tall buildings but I've never stayed on the 29th floor, ever! All is fine.
Unpacking didn't take long as we didn't bring much. We were really tired and ended up walking the neighbourhood until we found some street food to bring back to the apartment for dinner. We're going to bed now. Not enough sleep and 16 hours of difference have left us exhausted.
Tomorrow we can go buy things to fill the fridge and all.
