
It was snowing a lot yesterday morning and when it looks as though people are having trouble getting up and down our driveway, I don't use the truck. Why should I? We grabbed at our chance for early retirement in 2014 just so we could do as we please.
Obviously, it pleased us to go this morning although the roads were still a bit slick. Shopping was typical except that we bought a flat of mangoes. February has never been much of a season for them, but we noticed this batch was shipped from Peru.
A relatively new store habit is checking into the new blood pressure machine near the pharmacy. It's more useful because one can log on so that the data can be collected and accessed later. I just looked up my recent activity on my tablet and saved this copy. I can see that during my recent flu, my BP was higher than usual. These 'Wellness Stations' are made by a company called Higi. By the looks of their map, they're expanding their footprint throughout North America quickly.
In another twenty years, I'm sure we are going to look back at 2017 and laugh at how very unconnected most of the data in our personal lives was.
