Yesterday, I don't think I left the building. So, although we didn't leave New Westminster, we had to go uptown. The uptown Walmart Supercenter has started to get a small portion of our weekly grocery expenditures. It is just convenient and there is always something or other we can pick up. There was a new brand of frozen salmon on sale, so we ran that through checkout too. It was unusual to buy fillets as Jay most always wants the fish he buys to have tails intact!
After lunch, I walked to the New Westminster SkyTrain Station. I often buy the 'day-old' supermarket bread there. We now like the
Silver Hills brand as the labels show fewer chemicals than our former bread choices. I noticed the temperature is getting a bit nippy again. Apparently the next few nights are going to be below freezing.
