Our refrigerator will wait for the usual Saturday trip to the Superstore to get filled. Jay is a marvel of precisely planning so that during the exact day of a usual departure, we unplug an empty refrigerator for the winter. That would have been Sunday. Now that we know we're staying around New Westminster, we can fill it up again. It's good that we have at least $80 worth of extra credit card loyalty points to spend.
It's been fairly easy to refund a lot of the expenses we'd spent in anticipation of our winter. The cancellation fees add up but are tiny in the scheme of things. Next Wednesday, Jay has an appointment for our family doctors not for medical advice, but for a doctor's note explaining that his heart condition is reason enough for cancelling tickets with Air Asia. They require it to proceed with giving us $500 back for the multiple trips

Today, we also drove to Langley Farm Market to get vegetables too. It's a little sad here during winter as all the Okanagan fruit is gone and we're left with older apples, and imported oranges and bananas. Well, not really, but the spoils of the harvest are definitely running dry. I really miss fresh cherries!
There was no direct sunlight but things are a little brighter both literally and emotionally.
