My willingness to participate in technology makes me a bit more of a millennial than most of my peers. Maybe I fit my own generation's stereotype perfectly by being upset about being pigeonholed. You think?
I did, in fact, shake my head just a few minutes ago when trying to get off a SkyTrain. The gaggle of young 20-year-olds, even those not staring at their phones, made no space for passengers to disembark. They felt entitled to push their way through the crowd trying to leave. Damn kids, nowadays!
I do find that time is harder to measure as it goes by. Jay saw that carbon monoxide detectors are half off at a local hardware store. As we run the gas fireplace to heat the apartment when the weather gets cold, I always considered having one as smart. I knew that these kind of devices are only good for five to seven years. I wasn't sure how old the current one was.
I haven't heard any beeping. Thankfully, I blog though. So, yup, it's past time for a replacement.
