Today, we first went on the SkyTrain and transferred to the SeaBus. It was our first time on the north shore this summer.
The weather started off poorly but progressively got better throughout the day. We came back across the inlet and walked around Canada Place and Jack Poole Plaza. It is always nice to see the Olympic Torch lit. We didn't head to Granville Island today.
It was still a bit grey, so we went back to New Westminster to have lunch at home. A multicultural event took place in Pier Park today. I think belly-dancers in red were good.
We are home and within three hours it will be getting dark. We always watch the New Westminster fireworks from our balcony. A barge on the Fraser River is where they're fired from. Yay. We're here for another Happy Canada Day!
