During many years of my career a Tuesday would mean trudging in to teach a class. Now, being retired still feels totally amazing because a Tuesday can mean practically anything we wish. Today, we went uptown to buy fruit and vegetables as well as a few other items. Then, in the afternoon, we decided to go to the Landmark Cinemas to watch The Legend of Tarzan in 3D. We did nothing unusual today, but we could have. Not much ever prevents us from doing whatever we want.
I love the fact that time is now almost exclusively our own. Having free time is much more precious than any object we could possibly own.
