Perpetual Renovation?

I borrowed Jay's transit pass as I wanted to do a little errand at the New Westminster SkyTrain Station. It is only a 10 minute walk from here but as the SkyTrain goes right by the basement of my building, it seemed easier to jump in a train.


I don't know why the construction has been going on at the Expo Line stations for so long. I'm sure it didn't look much different a year ago at this time. That makes a whole year of little progress. These types of projects must come at a dear cost. It makes almost as much sense as the new compass card system.
