Jay pulled the tired beans from the balcony pots. How hard they have worked over the summer! In fact, they produced the final several during the last few days. There weren't enough to make a whole meal, but I'm not sure we ever picked fresh vegetables so close to the beginning of November.
Much later, after a nap I figured I'd been on the couch enough. Yet, it was a hard situation to fix as we really didn't need anything and we had no errands to run. Still, as I do still have some paper transit tickets to use up, I suggested we go to the Metrotown Mall just for a little exercise. I forget how so many people here live for time in the mall. As always there were more people than I feel comfortable with, especially as we didn't go until a few hours prior to closing time. However, I can confidently say, I don't consider a trip to the Metropolis as recreational. We got some cheese and bagels at the Superstore.
