I changed the timing belt at the recommended 60,000 miles. I had new brakes a few years back and just bought new tires. So, although next year might be a perfect time to shop for a new vehicle, I probably won't. The Ranger is all I will need for the next couple of summers, at least.
The only thing which I know it'll need soon is a new battery. The current one has been with me for 12 years, so I am sure that I can justify spending another $100 on one. At least with a manual transmission, I can remember to park on hills. I thought I'd find out what size is recommended. I need to be ready for upcoming sales or when we arrive back in the spring. Just so I don't need to look it up again, it needs a Group Size 58.
