Today we spent a few hours in Sayulita, Mexico. To get there we took a local bus to the area near the cruise ship terminal and then boarded one that would go north. With about 100 km (60 miles) of coastline, it's easy to forget just how big Banderas Bay really is. We left the house at about 10:25 and walked into the village of Sayulita at about 12:15.It was our second time there and I have to say it has become a little more charming. I looked back at my prior posting and noticed in 2013 I wasn't as impressed as I felt today.

We brought along our own lunch and ate in the town plaza. We were probably some of the only tourists who did not support the trendy restaurants that dot the central area.

As a destination, it surely makes sense as it'd be easy to head directly north from the airport. I could even see spending an entire winter there. It'd not be quite the same as our current one as there are far fewer services. Yet, the crowds looked younger and it really is a very pretty, little place.
