One of our ceiling fans is on. I see slightly different temperatures listed for Puerto Vallarta depending on which website I look at or app I open. It looks to be between 29C and 32C (85F to 90F) at the moment. That means it is one of the hotter days thus far. I remember dreading the few hottest days of summer in NH when all I wanted was the family to run to the State beach at Mt. Sunapee. Yet, people really do get used to anything, temperature being one.
Winters are generally this warm with less variation in Sri Lanka. I've been there. I just got used to it. Even at 6 degrees north of the equator, the people in the mountains need jackets.
In the rest of Canada, winters are substantially colder than in Vancouver and folks just get used to it. And grumble a bit.
I'm all for getting used to things, especially today's weather here. I'm loving it.
