Today, No Iguanas - Day 74

It was one of those bright, Sunday mornings when I knew it'd be good to do something special. So, we packed a lunch and headed to catch a bus going south. I love the highway that hugs the mountains overlooking the Pacific.



The bay at Mismaloya has been featured my eJournal and images a number of times as we always make sure to visit. I've even gone into the details about the filming that took place there which literally put Puerto Vallarta on the map.

We walked out to the same area. I wonder why no development ever took place on the old film set. As there was no highway in the early 1960's the crew arrived by boat each day. Now, the docks are completely gone. Yet, we had a nice time sitting at the point eating sandwiches while watching the tropical fish swim in and around the rocks.
