Today is not very blue. The thunderstorm of last evening drenched everything and the streets running down the hills became miniature mountain streams. There was a great deal of lightening and one clap of thunder which made me jump, nearly out of my skin. I do enjoy tropical downpours though as they remind me of ... um ... well ... the tropics. The sun still feels very muted.
The most southern street running east west in Emiliano Zapata is Basilio Badillo. It is an important area of the Old Town containing lots of restaurants and galleries. It is also how we get to the beach as it ends near Olas Atlas and the water.
I enjoy walking down the street at any time of day. It is a pleasure in the evenings. It is interesting even with lots of midday traffic on a not-so-nice day. Today's high temperature is only 25C (77F).
