This weather is conducive for walking. Our location also means it is a short walk not only to the beach but nearly anywhere in the Romantic Zone and the town center. Last evening, we returned to the town plaza by walking across the pedestrian-only bridges on the River Cuale near Aguacate. Again, we went to see the pilgrims parading to the church for the 12-day festival. There was also a school show taking place near the arches. In Vancouver, nobody's stuck at home due to snow, but having more hours of daylight definitely means it is easier to get a little more comfortable, outside exercise here.
This morning we went to the Saturday Market at the Lazaro Cárdenas Park. It is sort of an artisan affair with booths apparently run by bored expats or enterprising local producers chasing that niche-market. We did buy some lemon grass from a nearby organic farmer and picked up the two, free, gringo newspapers.
I am not missing
Vancouver weather at all.
