We had checked Google maps to see where our place is located. We figured we could get here by taking a regular bus for town marked "Tunnel" as it goes by the mountain road and descends down directly into the south side of the old town. We are not taxi kind of people. We had to lug the luggage about only a few blocks. The last half block is quite a hill. We needed to walk up one regular flight of outdoor stairs and then narrow spiral ones to get to our third floor studio apartment. Carlos was waiting to greet us, show us the particulars, and give us the keys.

412 Aguacate #4 is fine and will be a great place to spend the rest of our winter away. We were exhausted from being up and not sleeping on the plane. We bought a few things at a close market and slept for a few hours. We didn't watch the sunset today, but that's okay, we'll catch it quite a few times in the next 150 or so days.

After it was dark, we went for a walk. We need to walk for about 15 minutes down one of the most famous restaurant roads to get to the beach. As we walked around the touristy part of the Romantic Zone, I thought to myself, "Cool. We aren't away for just a week. We are now living here!"
