The 'D' in this bottle are vitamins, 2000 UI of D3 gels to be precise. Due to the lack of sun, supplementing during winters in these parts is an absolute must.
Today was a double whammy. Not only was it one of the darkest of the year, we still haven't grown accustomed to the resumption of Standard Time. Now that we move back the hour at the later November date, the change seems ever so more pronounced.
It was dark enough for lights for most of the day today, but it'll be absolutely dark by 4:45 pm. Oh, and did I mention we have had between 20 and 40 mm of rain so far today with another 30 to 50 mm expected tonight. (For metrically-impaired that may end up converting to total of aound 3 inches.)
