We walked to the Landmark Cinemas at the New Westminster SkyTrain station. We were there in time for the 11:30 am showing of Interstellar (2014). It was a rather massive undertaking and succeeded on most levels. I wondered why such a title would not be shot in 3D. Now, I understand that it wasn't a spectacle-type film. I enjoyed the rather low-key effects and return to traditional acting.
We were gone for nearly three hours, so I can't say that I amounted to much else today. Of course, we noticed the cold temperatures when walking home. I did spend some time watching the price of Bitcoin jump from CA$425 to a temporary high of CA$490. At last, the digital currency seems as though it's on its way up, after sleeping for much of the autumn. Other than that, what else happened? Hot-tub, for sure.
