I'm sort of fascinated in the whole idea of Tiki bars although I've never been in one, nor do I ever have much booze in the apartment. A quick search of the Internet, though, confirms that Margaritas are the most popular way to consume tequila in North America. In fact, they may be one of America's most popular cocktails. I associate them with winter vacations in Puerto Vallarta in glasses like this:
Okay, I have not seen any blue-rimmed drinking glasses here in New Westminster. Instead, I will pick up some tacky, plastic Margarita glasses. I saw loads of dollar-shop ones which have an inner layer containing water. When frozen, this helps to keep the liquid cool. My guests will be required to take home their neon-hued plasticware when they leave. Oh, and I must remember to pick up some Triple sec.
