It'd been nearly a year since I had seen my doctor. Last April, upon his urging, I stopped taking a mediation to reduce my triglyceride levels. I initially started on the daily capsule when my blood triglyceride test scores were an astronomical 7.0 mmol/L. (Ideally, they should be under 2.3 mmol/L in metric measurement.) That was way back at the turn of this millennium. So, I was on Fenofibrates for 13 years.

We decided to cut that medication to see how things would be. I kept meaning to go in for the blood test but spring led to summer and summer into autumn. I noticed the unused lab request form last week when moving my computer printer. Last Wednesday, I went to the lab in the morning and directly scheduled an appointment with Dr. DeCouto afterwards.
The appointment was for today after class and I went. My blood-work results were fine.
