Too Far to Hitchhike

I was going to post a picture of the uptown HSBC. Although that is not where I usually do my banking, I put some cash into one account there today. This is mainly so I can withdraw money from an ATM at their branch in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico next week. There are no additional fees for withdrawals in pesos when using their own network. Also, the bank is just steps from our hotel, the Rio Malecon.

I noticed today that there is no hint of the bit of snow that fell a few days ago here. Our more typical rain has returned. In fact, the temperature is supposed to get up to 10°C (50°F) tomorrow. Still, we will be expecting warmer tempertures than that.

I came across the following image today. I always try to quote all sources for the materials I post. This one would a bit tough, however. I saw this via Flipboard and I think it was a screen copy of another posting which may have been on Facebook. Still, I'd like to thank whomever had the idea and executed it so perfectly! A soon-to-melt snowman is way more fun to post than a boring, bank facade on 6th Street.
