This is among the lowest temperatures I can remember experiencing here. Okay, I do not want to sound like I'm bragging. We have a world-class ski area about 125 KM (78 miles) away, but I'd just as soon the freezing arctic air stay up there. I didn't like having to wear gloves today when walking from the BCIT parking lot to my classroom. In general, I don't like messing up my hair with an annoying toque. Most importantly, I certainly don't like having to wait for the inside of my vehicle to warm up!
I guess if there's an upside to these downward temperatures it's the fact pulling out the Christmas decorations seemed appropriate. Last winter we were away, so it was fun to see some of the ornaments again.
