I stopped to think about the fact my life can be nearly divided into thirds. I spent a little more time as a youth in New Hampshire, from my birth through the end of college. The next part of my life was the 15 years I taught in the Middle East. Most recently, I came to Canada and have been here for a bit more 17 years now.
So, there are many things which I forget are quite Canadian. Jamieson vitamins is one. The collective love for uniquely flavoured potato chips (not crisps) is another.
Poutine may be considered Canadian but it's surely not for
people interested in heart health!
