It's just that this week seems so very nice! I simply must share it somehow. I've come to expect that a rainy Labour Day weekend leads right into our typical rainy winter. Of course, over the last few years, the autumns have turned increasingly nice.
Moments ago, I ran to my balcony for a picture to underscore today's comments. This view is looking down the Fraser River in New Westminster, BC. Some of the water may have come down the entire 1350 kilometers (830 miles) to pass by where I live. For perspective, I've added a tiny red circle on the river. Inside it you may be able to see a small speck. In actuality, it contains three people in a small motor boat. This river is rather narrow here, but its true size can be deceiving.
