Magazines are an interesting format. Over the last decade I had pretty much given up on the idea of an edited, concise, monthly compendium of stories. I accessed most articles via a web browser.Hold up. The old format isn't dead. The glossy paper part of the equation might have changed, but having a smart editorial staff will never cease to be important. I still find news in an static packet interesting, especially if it comes from a trusted source.
I want to thank my public library and Zinio for reacquainting me with magazines. One needn't visit the library to read the downloaded electronic files.
Now, I just need to add this type of reading time to my typical schedule. The newest editions are always sitting on my old tablet.
